Carlyle did not sound like he would continue to break up the Ryan Getzlaf-Corey Perry duo like he did in Game 5 when he put Perry with Bobby Ryan and Petteri Nokelainen and Getzlaf with Teemu Selanne and Erik Christensen.
“We’re not going to try to re-invent the wheel here,” Carlyle said.
Carlyle mostly had his team put Game 5, a 4-1 loss, behind them. He had the club scrimmage with opposite-handed sticks for the first part of practice to lighten the mood.
“How are we going to lift the spirits of people other than go back to some of the goofy things you did when you played hockey (as a kid)?” Carlyle said.
“Wrong-handed scrimmage and ball hockey are all things that they remember, and you could see a lot of smiles on the faces, a much lighter approach.”
Forward Erik Christensen said it was the appropriate exercise to start practice instead of a doom-and-gloom hard skate.
“This time of year you have to forget about it,” Christensen said of Game 5.
That’s not to say the Ducks weren’t aware of the importance of Tuesday’s Game 6.
“It’s our life,” defenseman Ryan Whitney said. “It’s our season tomorrow.”

“Me personally, I felt I had a very below-average game,” Wisniewski said.
Wisniewski played 22 minutes, nine seconds and finished minus-2.
“Physically, I felt fine,” Wisniewski said. “A couple long shifts out there didn’t really help, but that’s probably going to happen whether I have the injury or not. No excuses. I was only out for like three, four days. I felt real good the first period. Then the second period, I made a bad pass, a turnover — they came up and scored. In the third period, my man scored the third goal.”
“You can’t take any credit from them, but it’s kind of easy when you’re just standing still. Any team could have done that to us tonight. We were just standing still, not moving our feet, not moving the puck. We had no energy. We weren’t finishing any checks. We were turning the puck over.”
Wisniewski offered a simple plan heading into a must-win Game 6 Tuesday night at Honda Center.
“Whether you win or lose, then you move on to the next game until the series is over,” he said. “We’ll forget about it on our plane ride home. We have Game 6 back at our building. If we can get it to Game 7, anything can happen.”

Franzént kezdem megutálni. Persze csak azért, mert szarja a gólokat ellenünk.
Ryan sérülésében lehet valami, de azért remélem, hogy nem emiatt "visszafogottabb".
Beaucheminnel pedig én valamiért nem vagyok kibékülve. Azt nem mondom, hogy rossz, de többet várnék tőle.
